In 2008, Association Seven launched the Northern Lights film panorama, which presents the cinema of Northern Europe and includes titles from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia. The aim of the panorama is to introduce the Bulgarian viewers to the film aesthetics and the topics that excite the directors from the Nordic and Baltic countries. Northern directors are true to their bittersweet everyday opuses – witty comedies or existential dramas that made us love them unconditionally. The two editions of the panorama, realized by the association, include titles from the northern periphery of Europe, which tell a little about everyday life, a little about society and more about the human.
